Volleyball Recap: Centennial Extends Winning Streak to Four

Centennial waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Seguin Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Centennial took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-10, 25-6.

Lauren Seeton paced Centennial's offense, picking up 15 kills. Seeton got some help from Channing Ward and her 19 assists.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 28-11. As for Seguin, they dropped their record down to 1-21 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Centennial will challenge rival Everman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Seguin is set to take on their familiar foe Joshua at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
