Tulia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 12-9 to Non Varsity Opponent. One positive for the Hornets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Tulia's loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Tulia will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Littlefield at 12:30 p.m. on February 27th. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-4 loss against Big Spring on the 15th.
