 Cornerstone Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Russell Christian Academy Warriors  8-6. Winning may never get old, but Cornerstone Christian sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
  Colby Harrison made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing five innings while giving up just one earned  (and four unearned) runs off   three  hits. Harrison has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Harrison was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Harrison wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Jake Smith, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Owen Meadows, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Cornerstone Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Russell Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
 As of now, neither Cornerstone Christian nor Russell Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
