Avon won the last time they faced Avon Lake and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Shoremen with a sharp 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Avon's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Avon Lake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Avon will welcome North at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Avon Lake, they will be playing at home against Walsh Jesuit at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
