Volleyball Recap: Foothills Christian Takes a Loss

Foothills Christian lost against Classical Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Knights came up short against the Caimans, falling 3-0. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-7, 25-15.

Classical Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Todd Clemens led the charge by getting 11 assists and three aces.

Foothills Christian's record now sits at 16-13. As for Classical Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Foothills Christian will square off against rival Bishop's at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Classical Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Santa Fe Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
