            Water Canyon extended their losing streak  to three  on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They were beaten by the Whitehorse Raiders 52-14. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in November of 2024.
As for Whitehorse, the  victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. The  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 44.5 points this season.
  Tristan Black continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 206 yards and three  touchdowns on only ten passes, while also rushing for 55 yards on only six carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended two passes.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Water Canyon will square off against Utah Military Academy - Hill Field at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Thunderbirds' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.4  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Whitehorse, they will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Monticello at 7:00  p.m.  on October 3.
