Houston had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Botkins Trojans out 3-2. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Houston was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (107-99), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-20, 17-25, 27-25, 15-12.
