Basketball Game Preview: Peters Township Indians vs. West Allegheny Indians

The Peters Township Indians just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the West Allegheny Indians at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Peters Township saw some tournament action on Friday. They were beaten by McDowell 69-33. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, West Allegheny came up short against Mars last Friday and fell 62-51. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Fightin' Planets recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

West Allegheny now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Peters Township, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Peters Township skirted past West Allegheny 62-60 in their previous matchup back in December of 2017. The rematch might be a little tougher for Peters Township since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
