Softball Recap: Monument Mountain's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Monument Mountain dropped their record down to 9-4 on Monday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Lenox Memorial Millionaires, falling 21-13. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Millionaires this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-11 back in April.

As for Lenox Memorial, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 17-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average this season.

For Lenox Memorial's part, the team relied heavily on Grace Julieano, who went 4-for-6 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most hits Julieano has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Evelyn Julieano, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.

As of now, neither Monument Mountain nor Lenox Memorial have any future games scheduled.
