Basketball Recap: Warwick Has No Trouble Against Ephrata

Warwick won the last time they faced Ephrata and things went their way on Friday too. The Warwick Warriors greeted the New Year with with a 53-36 victory over the Ephrata Mountaineers. The 53-point effort marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win made it two in a row for Warwick and bumps their season record up to 10-1. As for Ephrata, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-3.

Warwick and Ephrata should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Warwick (ranked 70th) will meet Elizabethtown (ranked 491st) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Ephrata will square off against Solanco at 7:30 p.m. on Monday up 351 places (165 vs. 516).
