Basketball Recap: Union Grove Takes a Loss

Union Grove lost against North Oconee back in November of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines received a blow as they fell 67-50 to the Titans.

Union Grove's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Oconee, the victory (which was their 31st in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Union Grove will be taking part in a tournament against North Florida Educational Institute at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Oconee, they will take on Queen's Grant in a tournament on Friday. The Titans will be up against the Stallions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.86 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
