High school baseball stolen base leaders

According to statistics submitted to MaxPreps, senior
Bren Milburn of
Crete-Monee (Crete, Ill.) leads high school baseball nationally with 93 stolen bases. The Morton College pledge hit .439 with a .545 on-base percentage before he saw his season come to an end May 30.
Joey Hood of
WISH Academy (Los Angeles, Calif.) is the only player in the top 10 to average more than one stolen base (73) per plate appearance (67).
Jose Bojorquez and
Tomas Encinas from
South (Bakersfield, Calif.) are both on the list with 130 combined stolen bases. Bojorquez is No. 4 nationally with 68 while Encinas is No. 7 with 62. Both are committed to play at Bakersfield College.
