Soccer Recap: Tivy Takes a Loss

Tivy managed to keep up with Alamo Heights until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tivy Antlers lost 5-0 to the Alamo Heights Mules. While losing is never fun, the Antlers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 439th, while the Mules are ranked 127th).

Tivy's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Alamo Heights, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Tivy will head out on the road to challenge Boerne at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alamo Heights, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Veterans Memorial at 7:00 p.m.
