Baseball Recap: Welch Wildcats vs. South Coffeyville Lions

Welch blew South Coffeyville out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday South Coffeyville got their revenge. The Welch Wildcats fell just short of the South Coffeyville Lions by a score of 10-8. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Welch saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colten Moss, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another was Brody Mills, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
