Football Game Preview: Jackson Aggies vs. Anniston Bulldogs + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Ezavier Crowell and Jabari Williams are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Jackson Aggies will challenge the Anniston Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Jackson comes in on seven and Anniston on 14.

Jackson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against St. Michael Catholic as they made off with a 44-23 win. The result was nothing new for the Aggies, who have now won ten matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Landon Duckworth continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 209 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 133 yards and one TD on only nine passes. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in October. A healthy portion of Duckworth's aerial production (133 yards to be exact) went to Keeyun Chapman, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jackson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 458 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Another reason for the win was Jackson's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Leading the way was AJ Hayes with two. Jaiden Mcdonald was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, making nine total tackles, and defending one pass.

Meanwhile, Anniston posted their closest victory since September 12th on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 32-29 win over Plainview.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Anniston, their win bumped their record up to 14-0.
