Volleyball Recap: Osborne Comes Up Short

Osborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Cobb Eagles. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11.

Osborne's offense was headlined by Julianis Facey and Hailey Winn, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Sofia Gomez and her seven assists.

Osborne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for South Cobb, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Osborne will challenge Langston Hughes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Cobb, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Douglas County on the 7th.
