Volleyball Recap: Mojave Comes Up Short

Mojave was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Lee Vining Tigers. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 20-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Mojave's loss dropped their record down to 6-14-1. As for Lee Vining, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.

Lee Vining has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Baker on the 18th. Hopefully Mojave paid attention to the Tigers' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
