Baseball Recap: Bishop Kenny Comes Up Short

Bishop Kenny lost against Fletcher back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Bishop Kenny came up short against Fletcher, falling 8-2. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colin Ulrich made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Bishop Kenny's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Fletcher, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Kenny will host Chiles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fletcher, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Mandarin at 6:30 p.m. Fletcher's pitchers better be ready for this one: Mandarin has averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
