Football Recap: Natchitoches Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Natchitoches Central had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-3 to make it seven. They took a blow against the Parkway Panthers, falling 69-40. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (36), the Chiefs still had to take the loss.

Natchitoches Central's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kelton Howard, who rushed for 184 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. Kaden Kuykendall was in the mix as well, providing the Chiefs with two scores.

As for Parkway, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Kb Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 322 yards and five touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Williams is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season.

Natchitoches Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-32 win against Haughton on the 3rd. As for Parkway, they have also already played their next contest, a 52-24 victory against Byrd on the 3rd.
