Soccer Recap: West Ashley's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times West Ashley and Wando have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The shutout was out of character for West Ashley seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

West Ashley moved to 17-5-1 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for Wando, they pushed their record up to 20-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

West Ashley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wando, they will square off against James Island at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. James Island will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Wando surely won't give up without a fight.
