Parke Heritage came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Benton Central Bison.

Renn Harper made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Harper was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Harper wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Lewie Woody, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Parke Heritage pushed their record up to 15-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games.
