Basketball Recap: Andover Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Andover Golden Warriors came up short against the Apponequet Regional Lakers and fell 45-36. While losing is never fun, the Golden Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Lakers are ranked 26th).

Andover's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7-1. As for Apponequet Regional, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Andover didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-44 win against Tewksbury Memorial on the 20th. Apponequet Regional has also already played their next match (against Seekonk), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
