Volleyball Recap: Bennett's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Platte Canyon on Saturday, Bennett came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the Weld Central Rebels on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Tigers couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Bennett ultimately came up short, they really made Weld Central work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-17, 25-21.

Meagan Green paced Bennett's offense, picking up 11 kills. Green got some help from Emilee Venneberg and her 27 assists.

Bennett moved to 9-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak. As for Weld Central, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-13.

Looking ahead, Bennett will take on Fort Lupton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Weld Central, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Platte Valley at 6:30 p.m.
