Volleyball Recap: Thomas Ferner and Aedan Jones Secure Win for Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale posted their closest victory since March 11th on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Dwyer Panthers 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Fort Lauderdale got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 21-25, 15-10.

Leading Fort Lauderdale to victory were Aedan Jones and Thomas Ferner. Jones had ten digs, while Ferner had nine digs and one assist. Those ten digs gave Jones a new career-high.

Fort Lauderdale's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Dwyer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Fort Lauderdale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Cardinal Gibbons on the 23rd. As for Dwyer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Seminole Ridge on the 23rd.
