Softball Recap: Graves County Eagles vs. Murray Tigers

Graves County put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They never let the Murray Tigers onto the board and left with a 10-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Graves County needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

Anna Rogers and Bailey Wimsatt made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Rogers didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Wimsatt pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Rogers went 2-for-2 with a home run, four RBI, and a double, while Wimsatt scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Brooklyn Cole was incredible, going 1-for-3 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ginger Martin, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
