Volleyball Recap: Sunny Hills Takes a Loss

Sunny Hills lost against Foothill back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Sunny Hills fell 3-1 to Foothill. While the Lancers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-19 in the first set.

Sunny Hills started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-14, 25-19, 25-19.

Sunny Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Foothill, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Coming up, Sunny Hills will welcome Long Beach Poly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Long Beach Poly will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Sunny Hills surely won't give up without a fight. After both having extra time off, Foothill and Yorba Linda will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
