Basketball Game Preview: East Clarendon Wolverines vs. Kingstree Blazers

The East Clarendon Wolverines will face off against the Kingstree Blazers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses for East Clarendon and four for Kingstree.

On Wednesday, East Clarendon was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 59-55 to Latta.

Meanwhile, Kingstree ended up a good deal behind Manning on Tuesday and lost 52-38. While losing is never fun, the Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while the Monarchs are ranked 92nd).

Kingstree's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for East Clarendon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.

East Clarendon couldn't quite finish off Kingstree in their previous meeting on January 7th and fell 58-55. Can East Clarendon avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
