Soccer Game Preview: King & Queen Central vs. Mathews

King & Queen Central is 0-4 against Mathews since April of 2023 but things could change on Wednesday. The Royal Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m.

King & Queen Central is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals back in March, they were much more limited against Lancaster on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Mathews earned a 3-1 win over King William on Monday. Mathews haven't had any issues with King William recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Mathews' win bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for King & Queen Central, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

King & Queen Central suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Mathews in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Royal Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
