Soccer Game Preview: Richards vs. Argo

Richards is 0-7 against Argo since May of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Argonauts at 5:00 p.m. Richards has given up an average of 4.6 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Richards is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Evergreen Park, falling 9-0.

Meanwhile, Argo waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Braves get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Argo, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

Argo's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Richards, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Richards suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Argo when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
