Basketball Recap: Midland Takes a Loss

Midland has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-46 heartbreaker at the hands of the Traverse City Central Trojans. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Chemics came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th in Michigan, while the Trojans are ranked 70th in Michigan).

Midland's record now sits at 18-3. As for Traverse City Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Midland nor Traverse City Central have any future games scheduled.
