Football Recap: La Quinta Aztecs vs. Loara Saxons
La Quinta had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-4-1 to make it four. They took a hard 27-12 fall against the Loara Saxons. The Aztecs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saxons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
As for Loara, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Loara to victory, but perhaps none more so than Santiago Caudillo, who rushed for 96 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries. Another pass catcher making a difference was Traivon Nicholson, who picked up 93 receiving yards and one TD.
