Catawba Ridge had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Hillcrest Rams on Friday as they made off with a 4-0 win. The result was nothing new for Catawba Ridge, who have now won eight contests by four goals or more so far this season.

They hit Hillcrest with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lauren Jackson, Ellie Coxon, Brooks Dority, and Ava Kenny.

The victory made it two in a row for Catawba Ridge and bumps their season record up to 17-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Hillcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Coming up, Catawba Ridge will square off against Eastside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Catawba Ridge's defense better be ready for this one: Eastside have averaged an impressive 3.2 goals per game this season. Hillcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
