Volleyball Recap: Olathe Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Olathe had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Soroco Rams, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

While Olathe ultimately came up short, they really made Soroco work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 26-24.

When it comes to explaining why Olathe lost, don't look at Gwen Nelson. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and one block.

Ceci Gregory was the offensive standout of the game as she had 11 digs and four aces.

Olathe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Caprock Academy on the 26th. As for Soroco, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Grand Valley on the 26th.
