Considering the Cougars have won 15 matches by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Caney pushed their record up to 17-15 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Pittsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.
