Basketball Recap: Sioux City North Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lincoln, Sioux City North was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Le Mars Bulldogs out 58-55. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-64 back in December of 2024.

Sioux City North's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points over those games. As for Le Mars, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Sioux City North has already played their next contest, a 64-34 loss against Sergeant Bluff-Luton on the 7th. As for Le Mars, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 76-58 defeat against Western Christian on the 6th.
