Softball Recap: Barlow Extends Winning Streak to Two

Barlow won the last time they faced Reynolds and things went their way on Friday too. The Bruins never let the Raiders get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Considering the Bruins have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Barlow and bumps their season record up to 13-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Reynolds, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Barlow is set to challenge their familiar foe David Douglas at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Reynolds will face off against rival Sandy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
