Baseball Recap: Wall Takes a Loss

Wall came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-2 to the Wylie Bulldogs. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Wall saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kellan Oliver, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Another was Caleb Braden, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Wall's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Wylie, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Coming up, Wall will take on San Angelo Central in a tournament on Friday. As for Wylie, they will head out on the road to face off against Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on March 15th.
