Hico had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 49-point drubbing they dealt De Leon on Friday. The Hico Tigers blew past the De Leon Bearcats 68-19. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Hico has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.2 points per game. As for De Leon, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.
