Basketball Recap: Greenon Triumphs

Greenon won against Madison Plains last Saturday with 49 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Greenon Knights managed a 49-45 win over the Mechanicsburg Indians. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 63-47 victory the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Greenon's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Mechanicsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-7 record this season.
