Baseball Recap: Jasper Bulldogs vs. Mabank Panthers
Jasper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Mabank Panthers, falling 13-1.
Kayson Owens was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
