Basketball Recap: Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights vs. Southampton Academy Raiders
The Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights entered their tilt with the Southampton Academy Raiders with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot walked away with a 47-38 win over the Raiders on Monday. This was payback for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, who suffered a 35-28 loss the last time these two teams met.
Charlie Potter was a one-man wrecking crew for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot as she scored 23 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Potter has scored all season. Avery Poore was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Southampton Academy, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot will be playing at home against the Kings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southampton Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge the Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
