Altoona-Midway won the last time they faced Chetopa, and William Stackhouse did his part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Altoona-Midway Jets' way against the Chetopa Hornets on Friday as the Altoona-Midway Jets made off with a 73-48 victory with plenty of help from Stackhouse, who shot 4-for-6 from long range and dropped a double-double with 28 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least 16 points.

Chance Carter was another key player, putting up four points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two).

When it comes to explaining why Chetopa lost, don't look at Lawrence Holt. Despite the final result, he posted 20 points and four steals. That was a full 41.7% of Chetopa's points, marking the 14th time in a row Holt has earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Lawellin, who put up seven points.

Altoona-Midway's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. As for Chetopa, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Altoona-Midway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-20 victory against Burrton on the 25th. As for Chetopa, they have also already played their next matchup, a 70-22 defeat against Waverly on the 25th.
