The Bradford Academy 's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Lutheran Northwest 42-8. Bradford Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lutheran Northwest apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2015.

Leading Lutheran Northwest to victory were JJ Helmer and Nathaniel Cummins. Helmer rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while Cummins gained 110 total yards and three touchdowns. Helmer is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played.

Bradford Academy's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.5 points per game. As for Lutheran Northwest, the win was the third in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.
