Basketball Recap: University Charter Takes a Loss

University Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 44-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aliceville Yellowjackets. The Trail Blazers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won 49-47.

Aliceville found their leader in freshman Shuntise Greyson, who posted 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Greyson has scored all season. Ronnesha Corder was another key player, putting up nine points.

University Charter's record is now 3-15. As for Aliceville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

University Charter has already played their next contest (against Johnson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Aliceville will be playing at home against Tuscaloosa Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
