Bullard had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 24-14 victory over the Madera Coyotes on Friday. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Coyotes, too.

Tyler Franklin was his usual excellent self, throwing for 275 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 30 yards. Devon Laney handled things on the ground, rushing for 83 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Bullard didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Davien Potts, Austin Ladd, and Asher Armstrong picked up one apiece. Armstrong is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Bullard got some further help from Nathan Flores: he picked up a sack and made ten total tackles.

Madera's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blake Burton, who rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown.

Bullard now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Madera, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Bullard wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 44-13 win against Justin Garza on the 18th. As for Madera, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 25-23 loss against San Joaquin Memorial on the 18th.
