Soccer Recap: Oscoda Comes Up Short

Oscoda lost against Standish-Sterling back in May of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Owls came up short against the Panthers, falling 8-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Oscoda were already down 7-0.

Oscoda's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Standish-Sterling, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Oscoda will welcome Roscommon at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Standish-Sterling, they will head out on the road to square off against Pinconning at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
