Basketball Recap: Weeping Water Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Sterling came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Weeping Water, but Kalison Miller wouldn't allow it. The Weeping Water Indians took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 57-23 victory over the Sterling Jets thanks in part to Miller, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Katie Mogensen was another key player, putting up four points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds gave her a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Weeping Water and bumps their season record up to 11-7. As for Sterling, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Weeping Water has already played their next game, a 38-29 victory against Falls City on the 31st. As for Sterling, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 39-28 win against Lewiston on the 31st.
