Volleyball Recap: Quitman Takes a Loss

Quitman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Meridian Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Quitman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Meridian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Quitman will take on Southeast Lauderdale at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Meridian, they will venture away from home to challenge Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
