While Tri-Village's victory against Preble Shawnee wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Arrows on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Tri-Village's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-9. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Preble Shawnee, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Tri-Village will take on Houston at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Preble Shawnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
