Football Recap: Archbishop Rummel Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Archbishop Rummel won the last time they faced Warren Easton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Raiders enjoyed a cozy 28-14 victory over the Fighting Eagles. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Raiders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Fighting Eagles are ranked 28th).

The win made it two in a row for Archbishop Rummel and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 21 points in those games. As for Warren Easton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.
